Still Big News and Creative Stamp Use!

BIG NEWS!!!! Mark's Finest Papers is announcing it's new DESIGN TEAM yesterday and today! Here's a Link: http://marksfinestpapers.blogspot.com/

Hi! This card was made for today's Inspiration Challenge: Jonathan Adler. I chose this bird bowl as my inspiration.

I'm still making Christmas cards, and when I saw this bowl, I was reminded of this bird ornament. Then, when I found the set, I noticed that the "pine needles" stamp was missing! What to do??? I didn't panic, though, as I KNEW I would find it...Speedy the Cat LOVES to hide my clear stamps.

I decided to use my "favorite tree" as branches! I stamped the tree in VersaMark and embossed 2 images in Ivory.

Next, I stamped 3 more images in VersaMark and embossed them in Gold. (The background is Basic Grey's Indian Summer paper!)

The bird was stamped in VersaMark onto Classic Flax, embossed in gold and cut out.

This card fits this week's Stampin' B's Challenge!

All papers, embellishments and Flourishes images can be found at Mark's Finest Papers.

Happy Stampin'!
Faith

Your favorite tree makes good branches. The bird ornament reminds me of one of my father's childhood ornaments. We still have it. :) Very pretty card. Hugs..

Too beautiful already! I love how you come up with a thousand and one beautiful ways to use this Christmas tree... I must tell you I was not all that fond of it at the very very beginning when you just did plain images, but I believe that somehow or other you must have felt the same way I did, because now you have come up with so many wonderful and even un-Christmas tree like ways of using it!

Thanks for sharing your amazing talent. LOVE your blog, LOVE your work, LOVE your generous personality!
