Hi! This card was made for today's Technique Lovers Challenge: Out of the Box. The technique is to use die cut machines or Coluzzles to cut out images and to leave part of the image whole and "out of the die cut."I also used this Notebook as inspiration!
I have to admit this...I was going to sit this one out, but my friend, Kim (Luvs Flowers) said she didn't see my card in today's Technique challenge...So....HERE IT IS, KIM!!! LOL
I stamped the image in Noir and colored it with Copics. Next, I cut out the image's handle and cut with the diecut, leaving the handle OUT of the cut.
The background was stamped with Noir. This also fits the RedDivas Challenge.

Hi! This card was made for today’s Clean And Simple Challenge. Today’s Challenge was an inspiration challenge. I chose this wallet for inspiration.
I am STILL VERY behind on this year’s Christmas cards and really need to get moving. So when I saw this wallet…(okay, I OWN one of these!)LOL, I decided I was going to take the colors and the silver in the “turn lock” and use them in a Christmas Card.
The image was stamped in VersaMark onto Snow Storm Smooth and embossed in silver. It was cut out and Palette Cote d’Azure was sponged on. I worked VERY quickly, and rubbed the silver with a paper towel to buff off the ink. The sentiment was made the same way.
The background was dry embossed with a Sizzix embossing folder.
All papers, and Flourishes images can be found at Mark’s Finest Papers.

Another lovely.....
Absolutely gorgeous!
OMG! These beautiful cards can be sent to me!haha
I'm not sure how this technique (like leaving the stamped image out of the die cut?) really works. Is there a photo tutorial for it somewhere?
both are just beautiful.....
Breathtaking!!!!
Since you added the cups card I had to add a comment.I love it. My mother collects tea cups, this image would make the perfect card for her. I LOVE IT. hugs...
Love your cards Faith! But I've got to make a friend several flower pot cards and wanted to use a poinsetta. Since I don't have this one, (and I am refusing to buy more at the moment), thought I'd use my Christmas Cardinal, which is retired, and do one. Wonder what colors I could use on it (red for sure) - but do you think I should emboss it on white, or red? I can color it or sponge it. But what colors (of SU) would look great together. (i.e. real red and ruby, or some other color red?) TFS this card - helps me some with a decision - but if you can help, that would be great!
